Changing the desert into modern
residence
Rashid Al Zaabi looking to the amazing view and thinking about
how special his old home is, shining in the heat, full of stacks of sand. but
however it is special to him, Sharjah government offered new homes for the
residents of Khor Kalba. Mr. al Zaabi’s & 120 strong teams aim to restore
the value of the village, as for his old home was mostly collapsed but some
walls still stand perfectly. the plan of reviving khor kalba was inspired by
Dr. sheikh sultan, most of the residents were known, except for the middle part
which remains a mystry for they have not known who once lived there. dh10
million was spent so far on the project, researchers are still amazed by what
they used to build back then since it was very stiff and strong. MS. Khaldi
noted, Mr.Al Zaabi regrets him selling his house for he missed it.
